Privacy policy

We don't collect anything that identifies you, don't sell or share anything, and don't use cookies.

What we don't do

No cookies. No accounts or logins. No mailing list. No ads or ad trackers. No selling or sharing data — there's none to sell.

What we do collect

Anonymous pageview counts, via Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookie-free, no script (this site's CSP blocks scripts entirely). It shows which pages get read. It can't connect a visit to a person or a return visit.

If you use the feedback form, what you type is emailed to the maintainer to read and reply to — not stored in a database or added to any list. Prefer email? translations@trustbutverifyproject.org works the same way.

Standard server logs — Cloudflare briefly logs technical request data (like IP address) for security, same as nearly every site online. We don't use it for anything about you individually.

Why

A site about not letting scammers take your information can't quietly take yours either, even with good intentions. So we don't collect what we don't need, rather than collect it and promise to be careful.
